Offshore scope, signup & legal requests
Who is PrivateHostLab's offshore VPS hosting for?
PrivateHostLab offers offshore VPS hosting for agencies, independent operators and teams responsible for client websites, applications and campaigns. The operator is based in Panama. The standard signup uses one contact email, with no routine identity-document check, and payment is crypto only, including Monero. The client website use case connects that purchase to access, budgets and the work your team will operate.
Link to this answerWhich server locations can I choose?
Choose Panama, Ireland, Romania, Sweden for any PrivateHostLab plan, with no location surcharge. Panama is the starting selection for a new configuration. The operator is also based in Panama, but the selected VPS country and backup locations are separate facts. Backup countries and provider details remain to be confirmed. Compare the server locations and record the selected country in your client brief.
Link to this answerHow many client websites fit on a plan?
There is no dependable website count per plan. A cached brochure site and an application with database writes, scheduled exports and logged-in users consume resources differently. Review memory, storage growth, peak work and the consequences of a shared outage. The project separation guide helps decide whether a larger allocation or separate servers addresses the actual constraint.
Link to this answerWhat does no-KYC signup mean for a client project?
Standard VPS signup does not request identity documents, a selfie or proof of address. An email is the only account-contact field; the hostname and optional SSH public key are technical settings. Additional information may be required where applicable law requires it. This policy does not guarantee anonymity or an absence of personal data: an email or key comment can identify someone. Review the crypto buying steps, privacy notice and service terms before deciding what project information to provide.
Link to this answerWhich contact email should an agency use, and is it verified?
Use an email the client or agreed agency operator controls, and record who remains responsible when the project changes hands. Confirm that address before payment instructions are shown. The current checkout checks its format and keeps the confirmed value in this site's tab session; it does not verify mailbox ownership, create a service account or send an email. A saved contact therefore is not proof of account activation. See contact handling and the handover guide.
Link to this answerDoes a DMCA notice automatically suspend a client's VPS or disclose their data?
A DMCA notice alone does not trigger automatic suspension or disclosure of customer data. PrivateHostLab assesses copyright complaints under applicable law; a substantiated complaint or legally binding process may require action. This is not a policy of ignoring copyright complaints. The U.S. Copyright Office's Section 512 explanation describes the notice-and-takedown framework. Keep the client's content permissions and response owner clear, and read the acceptable-use policy and terms.
Link to this answerHow are legal requests handled by the Panama-based operation?
PrivateHostLab reviews legal requests under applicable law and complies with legally binding process applicable to its Panama-based operation, including international procedures recognized in Panama. A request's foreign origin alone does not determine its legal effect. A private complaint, an authority's request and recognized legal process require different assessment. The policy does not promise that only a Panamanian judge can require action. Use the terms and privacy notice when agreeing who represents the client in a legal matter.

Does an offshore VPS include website management or migration?
The VPS allocation does not by itself include CMS updates, application debugging, database administration, automatic migration or a tested recovery process. Assign an operator and replacement for the work your client requires. Moving DNS does not copy the application or its data. Use the responsibility matrix and migration guide to define the scope; provider duties must come from the actual service agreement.
Link to this answerWho should own the account and pay the hosting bill?
Agree account ownership, payment authority and the operational contact before ordering. The client may own the service while an agency operates the application, provided the agreement makes transfer and exit rights clear. Record the billing decision owner, technical operator, replacement and who controls the contact email. The single checkout email does not replace those internal responsibilities or establish a verified account. Avoid making a departing contractor the only route to project recovery.
Link to this answerWho should control the domain and DNS?
Document the registrant, registrar account owner, DNS operator and recovery contact as distinct roles where relevant. The person approving a migration needs a reachable DNS operator during the change window. Access to the website does not imply authority to change the domain. Keep a record of the previous DNS settings and use the migration decision log before switching traffic.
Link to this answerWhat should be handed over when the client changes agency?
Transfer the operating inventory, ownership record, deployment process, recovery instructions, renewal calendar and open issues. Include responsibility for the contact email. Give the replacement their own approved access and have them perform a bounded acceptance task, such as locating a recoverable backup or rehearsing a restore in a suitable environment. Record gaps before revoking the departing team's access. The offboarding guide covers the sequence; keep secrets out of the handover document.
Link to this answerWhen should client projects have separate VPS instances?
Consider separate instances when clients need independent administrator access, different maintenance windows, distinct recovery ownership or a smaller shared incident scope. Separation creates additional operating and hosting work; it does not automatically provide redundancy. Compare those duties with the risk of a common server in the one VPS or separate servers guide.

What must the client approve before a migration?
Obtain approval for the change window and timezone, expected disruption, responsibility for final writes, validation checks and rollback decision. Identify who can accept the result and who can pause the move when they are unavailable. The scope should include forms, mail, integrations and scheduled work, not only the homepage. Start with the migration worksheet.
Link to this answerWhat belongs in a launch acceptance checklist?
Include critical journeys, redirects, forms, notifications, account roles, scheduled jobs and data checks. For each, record the expected result, actual observation, evidence and approver. Rehearse form storage, outgoing mail and webhooks with approved test data and controlled destinations. Keep accepted, refused and blocked outcomes separate; an unchecked item is not approval. The launch acceptance guide provides a reusable worksheet.
Link to this answerHow do we avoid conflicting writes during a move?
Choose one authoritative writable system during the transition and decide how forms, uploads, imports and workers are paused or reconciled. Inventory scheduled jobs, stop the old owner at the agreed point and validate the new owner before allowing normal work, so exports or notifications do not run twice. DNS changes do not move every visitor instantly. The migration guide covers the final copy, write boundary and limits of rollback after new writes begin.
Link to this answerCan a campaign’s visitor estimate determine VPS size?
A visitor estimate alone is insufficient. Request bursts, cache behavior, database work, form submissions and third-party limits shape the load. Use an authorized rehearsal with an agreed duration, limits and stop conditions; do not infer a guaranteed capacity from a plan label. The campaign traffic guide connects the calendar to measurable checks.

How do six-month and yearly upfront discounts work?
The current catalog applies a 28% discount to a six-month period and 50% to a twelve-month period. You pay the discounted full-period total upfront. The displayed monthly reference is the configuration’s monthly cost before that period discount. Compare the generated example in the hosting budget guide and confirm future renewal terms separately.
Link to this answerDo recurring options receive the same period discount?
Yes. The current calculation applies the chosen period discount to the base VPS and all selected recurring resource and backup charges together, then rounds the final USD total to the nearest cent. External services and your agency’s work are outside that calculation. The service facts are generated from the same catalog used by the configurator.
Link to this answerAre backups, domains and control-panel licenses included?
The configurator has a separately priced daily backup option; it is not part of every base plan. A selectable option does not prove that a restore has been tested for your application. Domain registration, commercial control-panel licenses, independent backup storage and maintenance are separate budget decisions unless the final agreement explicitly includes them. Review the complete budget worksheet.
Link to this answerCan I invoice my client in local currency?
Your agreement with the client determines how your own charges are presented. PrivateHostLab’s catalog and checkout reference USD, with a selected crypto asset for payment; they do not generate a local-currency invoice or determine tax treatment. Record any separate conversion date and method in your administrative process and consult your accounting adviser where needed.
Link to this answerDoes a prepaid crypto period renew automatically?
The current checkout does not establish a recurring debit or an automatic renewal arrangement. It gives payment instructions for one selected period. Put a renewal review date and responsible person in the project calendar, and confirm the next offer and service continuity terms separately. Do not assume the present discount is guaranteed for a future renewal.
Link to this answerMonero, crypto quotes & payment records
How do we pay for a client project with Monero?
Choose the VPS resources and period, review the USD total and confirm one contact email. Monero (XMR) is the initial choice on a fresh checkout; an existing quote or restored asset selection keeps its choice. Select Monero on its displayed network, then use the exact amount, full address and one-hour expiry. The QR contains the address only. Other listed crypto routes remain available. Read the payment explanation; a local reference is not a receipt or server-issued order.
Link to this answerWhy can a stablecoin quote differ from the USD amount?
The checkout uses a live market reference for USDT and USDC as well as the other supported assets; it does not assume either token always equals exactly one US dollar. Conversion and rounding can therefore produce a different numeric amount. Network fees are separate. The payment explanation identifies the rate source and precision.
Link to this answerWhat happens when the quote expires?
The quote lasts exactly one hour from creation, including after a reload. Generate a new quote after it expires and use the new displayed details. The receiving address can technically accept a transfer later, but that does not extend the quote or establish acceptance of a late payment. Keep both the reference and timing in your payment record.
Link to this answerCan a transaction hash or a click confirm payment?
No. A browser action, screenshot or pasted transaction hash cannot establish that the required asset, network and amount were received and matched to an order. Payment confirmation must come from the server-side verification process. The current page reports “Payment not verified” and does not provision a VPS. Preserve transfer evidence separately from any later provider confirmation.
Link to this answerWhat records should I retain after a hosting payment?
Keep the selected configuration, prepaid period, USD breakdown, quote reference, asset and network, full destination, expiry and transfer record. Keep wallet secrets out of the project file. Record any later provider confirmation as a separate event; transfer evidence alone cannot mark the service paid or delivered. The client payment record guide gives a field-by-field worksheet.
Link to this answerWhat changes if I edit the configuration or contact email?
An effective change to VPS resources, service period or asset/network invalidates the previous financial quote; review the revised details before transferring. Correcting only the contact email keeps the same quote reference, amount, rate and expiry. Payment instructions are temporarily unavailable while an email edit is unconfirmed. Confirm the correction or cancel it to return to the saved contact. An email correction never adds a fresh hour. Return to the configurator for resource changes.

Does the VPS include the client’s email hosting?
No hosted mailbox or outbound SMTP service is included by this VPS catalog. The checkout contact email is a local contact field for payment instructions, not an email account. Record the mail provider, DNS/MX owner and recovery contact separately. See the domain, email and web-hosting guide.
Link to this answerWho should approve a rollback after an update?
Agree this before the maintenance window. The person who can accept service impact should be reachable, while the technical operator supplies the evidence and options. A rollback can affect data or recent changes, so the approval record should identify the recovery point and its limits. See the update recovery guide.
Link to this answerWhat must a client approve before a longer prepaid period?
Record the chosen plan, options, server country, full upfront total, discount, operating owner and the decision point for renewal or exit. Six months have a 28% discount and twelve months 50% across the VPS and selected recurring options; this does not remove the need to approve the longer commitment. Use the purchase approval sheet.
